Celebrate safely this Mothering Sunday

Celebrate safely this Mothering Sunday

Is coronavirus raining on your mother's parade? We know the feeling.

For those of you not able to visit and celebrate with your mothers, grandmothers or motherly role models this weekend, we've got some suggestions on how to gift safely this Sunday.

Bible reading notes
Subscriptions are great way of showing someone that you care all year round - with no physical contact necessary! Sharing a daily reading, reflection and prayer over a phone or video call can help you stay connected wherever you are and whatever your situation.

We offer five different sets of Bible reading notes, all available in print with some available as an app and one available via email.

Not sure what they'd like? We recommend Day by Day with God, written by women for women - but if you have something else in mind, visit our guide to learn more about our notes.

Ebooks
Several of our books are available on Kindle, so you can give the gift of reading digitally. We recommend Faith in the Making for some spiritual care and Praying the Way for some fervent prayer time. For those preparing to have children at home for the forseeable future, try Parenting Children for a Life of Faith and for those not able to see their grandchildren, Faithful Grandparents.

Post a book (of postcards)
Not a digital solution, but a beautiful gift to receive in the post nonetheless. Ellie Hart's Postcards of Hope offers a collection of original, beautiful watercolours, each with a short reflection aimed at helping the reader hear from God.
