About Living Faith
Living Faith: resourcing your spiritual journey
Many of you know BRF through our Bible reading notes, books and events. If you're a regular reader of BRF News, you'll also know that in the past two decades we've become the custodians of other ministries and programmes as well - Messy Church, Parenting for Faith, Anna Chaplaincy and Barnabas in Schools. During a strategic review last year, we decided that our publishing and events programme also deserved a distinct name that explains what it's about. And because our goal is to create content that helps people to experience a vibrant, living faith and to actively live out their faith in their communities, we chose the name 'Living Faith' for this area of our work.
Bringing faith to life
We want all our Living Faith content (whether in print or digital - as well as our events) to enable people to keep learning and growing as Christians throughout their lives, and to feel part of a wider community of believers.
That means promoting regular, reflective and confident reading of the Bible, encouraging people of all ages to go deeper in prayer and in their relationship with God, and enabling them to grow as Christian disciples, wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
So Living Faith includes:
- an annual book publishing programme that speaks into the areas of Bible reading, prayer and spirituality, and discipleship
- five series of Bible reading notes for different audiences
- regular events, such as the annual Festival of Prayer organised in partnership with the Diocese of Oxford.
It means a great deal to us that people continue to find our resources and events helpful, and we strive to keep them affordable.
