Spring is coming!
Despite everything, when I look at the daffodils in my garden, I can't entirely lose hope.
Readers have been in contact with us over the past few days to say how especially apt and comforting the daily reflections in New Daylight have been at this time.
There's a new issue of Guidelines out too - to keep you ticking over theologically through the coming weeks - as well as Day by Day with God, The Upper Room and Bible Reflections for Older People.
Parenting as a Church Leader, publishing today, has never felt more necessary in a season when many clergy families will be spending a lot more time together.
James Lawrence's classic Growing Leaders will also come into its own in a new way to give leaders facing a whole new set of challenges the tools needed to keep going in faith and encourage others to do the same.
And back to my daffodils. Today also sees the publication of a new edition of David Cole's ever-popular Celtic Saints, with a beautiful new cover showing the aforementioned saints bobbing in their coracles on a choppy but sun-drenched sea. Celtic Christianity, with its appreciation of the beauty of creation and willingness to engage with its more challenging elements, seems particularly relevant at the moment, when we need constant reminders to look up and out to find whatever will encourage us and help us to praise God in all circumstances.
Curl up with a good book, enjoy the daffodils, and remember - spring is coming.
