Rosie Button has written a week-long series of biblical reflections based on refugees, God’s heart for them and how we, as the body of Christ, can enable the stranger to belong in our communities. Although taken from Guidelines May–August 2023, we encourage you to engage with this material throughout the year. Care and concern for others is a central tenet of the Christian faith, and Jesus reminds us that however we treat those around us, including the stranger, is also how we treat him (Matthew 25:34–46).
