Parenting as a Church Leader Course 2025

£25.00

Parenting when you are also a church leader can bring up some unique situations and challenges. But there are lots of practical things we can do to enable our families to flourish in the goldfish bowl of church life.

On Thursday 9 October, we will be running the Parenting as a Church Leader Course, which will unpack how to help your family thrive. The course is a mixture of video teaching from Rachel Turner (author of Parenting as a Church Leader), a chance to reflect on your own and to discuss with others. We will look at how to help our kids and teens feel connected, prioritised, covered and empowered.

We find that people get the most from the course when they have the opportunity to explore it with people who understand their family and context. So we would really encourage church staff teams or regional networks to sign up together and we offer a discount on places to enable this. Where possible we'd also really encourage couples to attend together.  We will put you in a breakout room just for your church/region/group or alternatively you can meet together in person.

If you're not part of a church or group, sign up for an individual/couple ticket. We'll pop you into a group with others in the same boat for the discussion times.

The course is suitable for leaders from any denomination or background and their spouses. Whether the role is paid or voluntary and whether it involves leadership of a whole congregation or community, youth, children, families, worship or any other area of ministry.
