Description

The Forge 2020 North will be held at The Mermaid Inn, Thorncliffe, Nr Leek, ST13 8UN.

The Forge Gatherings are residential retreats for children's, youth and families workers (both paid and voluntary) hosted by Rachel Turner and the Parenting for Faith team.

We will begin at 1.00pm on the Monday and finish at 2.00pm on the Wednesday.

At the Forge, there'll be time to worship and reflect, time to hear about new developments in children's, youth and families work, time to learn from each other and time for fun together! It's a fantastic opportunity to meet others working in the same field as you, and you'll leave with heads full of ideas, lots of contacts and some great new friends.

The price is all inclusive, with home-cooked food, shared accommodation*, time for games, walks and fun, and more posh ice-cream than you can shake a stick at!

If you have any questions about this event please contact, Becky Sedwick.

*Accommodation is in shared rooms and some people may need to sleep in bunks. Please let us know if you have any specific requests or requirements regarding sleeping arrangements. Rooms will be allocated for you however every effort will be made to keep groups together.
