Our ministry began in 1922 when Revd Leslie Mannering started producing monthly Bible reading notes for his congregation in Brixton. 100 years later, thanks to generous support, we work across our four ministries to enable all ages to grow in faith.

We are thrilled to mark this important milestone with the BRF Centenary Rose.

We are working with a British rose grower to bring you potted ‘Cream Abundance’ roses, a gorgeous cream-coloured floribunda rose, ideal for borders and plant beds with continual blooms throughout the spring into autumn.

About the rose bushes
Grown in a sustainable South Downs Rose Paddock, where the Real Flower Company nurtures 30,000 rose bushes for cut flowers, each of these rose plants has been hand-tended by their small team. Your rose will be delivered in a tall pot to allow the long roots to grow straight and strong. These rose plants can be left in their pot for up to a year (but they will need to be kept watered and fed) or planted out at any time throughout the year.

How to Plant Your Rose in the Ground
1. Choose a day when there is no frost.
2. Soak the rose in a bucket of water for at least an hour before planting.
3. Dig a hole that’s at least 50cm deep and at least twice the width of the roots.
4. Do not bend the rose's roots when it is placed in the hole. Make sure the root union (the bulbous part at the base of the branches) is covered with at least 5cm of soil.
5. Fill the hole around the rose with good-quality compost and a fertiliser.
6. Water in well and keep well-watered. We recommend giving the rose a long soak around once a week over the spring and summer to encourage the roots to grow strong and down.

When ordering, please select the month in which your rose will be dispatched. We will endeavour to dispatch your Rose within that month - though we are somewhat dependant on our gloriously unpredictable British weather. If you would like your rose to arrive in December, you will need to order before 19 November.

Stock for the rose is limited, and orders will be fulfilled on a first-come first-served basis.

This rose is only available for despatch to mainland UK excluding the Scottish Highlands.

We are working with The Real Flower Company, an award-winning grower and florist with a commitment to promoting provenance and sustainability.
