Resources for your home group study

Planning a session for a home study group can be a challenge - you need to find something different, something to inspire. Why not consider combining the benefits of a reading group and a study group by creating your own READY group:

R - to read through a book together

E - to enjoy the fellowship of each other talking about a book using a study guide

A - to apply what you read to the faith journey

D - to discuss how your church can grow through what you are reading

Y - you make it personal - how you will respond to the message of the book?

A group READY to read and be challenged about its discipleship both personally and as a church.

BRF publishes a range of books that work through different aspects of discipleship, most of which also include a study guide.

Here are a few books to get you started:

Facing the Darkness and Finding the Light

Facing the Darkness and Finding the Light

Reflections for troubled times from the book of Revelation David Winter £6.99

A very accessible introduction to the book of Revelation for small groups: 'This is a step-by-step journey through the apocalyptic and mysterious visions of Revelation, which face the awfulness of much of earthly life head-on. "While it is not always an easy journey, it is a deeply rewarding one", for amid the maelstrom of passion, and despite the blood and horses and beasts from the pit, the light of divine purpose, hope and love shines. "We shall face the darkness over these pages, but we shall also find the light."' Johnny Douglas, Review for The Good Bookstall
