Content

The little elephant is amazed at all the different animals. The fish that live in the sea, the birds that fly from one end of the sky to the other. In wonder, he asks his mother, "Can God love them, wherever they go?".

The little elephant admits that he is afraid of the dark, but his mother gently reminds him that just as the loving God is with the birds and the whales, he is also with us, wherever we are and whatever our situation.

A beautiful story with captivating illustrations, Little Elephant is a bedtime story which will enthrall under-fives and assure them of God's everpresent love. View items in similar categories

Reviews

From: The Church Times - 07 September 2007 An entirely different type of book, for younger readers, is Little Elephant. Little Elephant is keen to discover whether God loves birds, snakes, sea creatures, insects, and so on. Each time he asks his mother, she replies that God made them and loves them. It all leads up to his final question, 'Does God love me?' to which his mother responds that God will always be with him, wherever he goes. The book closes with Little Elephant's bedtime prayer: 'Thank you, God, for loving all the creatures you have made. Thank you, God, for loving me.'
