Reviews

From: The Methodist Recorder - 16 March 2006 The Story of Jesus is a bright and bold retelling of the life of Jesus, from his birth up until his crucifixion at the hands of Pilate. There are 60 stories in total in this book, all greatly condensed down to their essential elements, making easy and engaging reading for a young audience. Gillian Chapman's illustrations are vibrant and arresting and help bring the stories to life on the pages. The brevity of each story seems to ensure that the moral of each is not lost, perhaps because of a waning attention span!
